On July 24, 2024, we bid farewell to our cherished Connie DeLibero. Her remarkable strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit were an endless well of inspiration, even in the midst of unfathomable trials during her battle with stage 4 breast cancer. Connie's influence will forever endure in our hearts.
Connie, a remarkable woman who was born in Vancouver, Washington, to Kriene and Irene Upkes on July 13, 1950. She lived her life the best she knew and touched in some small way the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, she remained an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Connie met and married Richard DeLibero, and they shared over 54 years of marriage. Together, they weathered life's storms and celebrated its joys. They retired and became snowbirds for many years in Surprise, Arizona until her passing. Connie cherished her roles as a wife, mother, and recently a grandmother and great-grandmother, Gigi. She adored spending time with her fur grandkids, Jax and Cabo, especially Jax, as well as enjoying gardening, dancing, and organizing family and friend events. She had a keen eye for spotting great bargains and was a talented flower arranger.
Connie is survived by her loving husband, Richard, her fabulous daughter, Nikki, her nurturing son, Jeff (Clara), grandson Brian, granddaughters Laura and Brooke, great granddaughter Madeline, as well as her sister, Betty, and brothers Jeffrey and Duane (Sandy).
