Dennis Owen Collins, Age 79, passed away on August 17, 2024 at his home in Clackamas, Oregon. Born to Robert and Lois (Mason) Collins on April 10, 1945, in Battleground, Washington. He graduated from Clackamas High School.

On July 26, 1975 Dennis and Jeanne’ Tiller eloped in Las Vegas and lived in Vancouver before moving to Clackamas, where they remained for the following 48.5 years. Passionate about gardening, Dennis enjoyed growing fruits, vegetables, bushes, trees, and flowers with a particular interest in dahlias. He loved the outdoors, animals, helping people, and spending time with family - both chosen and traditional. Dennis liked to spend his time working with his hands - woodworking, building, and fixing things. 

Dennis leaves behind a loving family: his wife Jeanne’; children Kevin (Tanya) and Keith (Julia); Brother, Richard Collins; grandchildren Kindra Collins, Lisa Amy Botteron, Pammie DeClue; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, August 26, 2024 beginning at 1:00 PM at Layne’s Funeral Home, in Battleground WA. He will be laid to rest at Lewisville Cemetery, Battle Ground WA
