Helen Christine Burns

Helen Christine Burns, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully left us April 6, 2024. She was born on January 9, 1948, in Wadena, Minnesota.

Helen's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love and laughter. She found joy in spending time with her family, cooking delicious meals, basking in the sun at the beach, caring for and feeding her deer, and exploring the wonders of Reno. Her radiant smile and unwavering love touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In her journey through life, Helen was preceded in death by her father Leroy and mother Joyce. She now rests in peace alongside them. She is also reunited with her son Lonnie, brother Ted, and grandson Robert.

Though Helen may have departed from this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she cherished deeply. She is survived by her loving husband Kent Burns and their children Dwayne and Mary Lou. Helen leaves behind a legacy of love spanning through generations – nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and even a great-great-grandson.

In addition to her immediate family, Helen is fondly remembered by her brothers Daryl and Jay, and her sisters Joy, Gerry, Terry, and Nina. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Keith with his wife Melissa and sister-in-law Karrie with her husband Roger.

The impact of Helen's kindness and warmth will be felt for years to come as she watches over her extensive family from above. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have been graced by her presence.
