James Richard Muonio

James Richard Muonio, age 46, passed away on February 1, 2024, at his home in Battle Ground, WA from complications with diabetes. James was born in Montrose, Minnesota on August 8, 1977. He graduated from high school in Howard Lake, MN, in 1995, and earned a computer science degree from Mankato State University in 1999. He worked for many years at Graco in Minneapolis. In 2018, James moved to Battle Ground and worked for Prairie Electric as a software developer. James was a kind soul who touched the lives of many with his love and dedication. He enjoyed reading, collecting tools, and spending time with family. James is survived by his brothers: Mark, David, Carl, and Andrew; and sisters: Sharon Oberg, Sarah Schanus, Linda LaFave, Elaine Muonio, and Cindy Kivari; many nieces and nephews; and stepmother Gretchen Muonio. James is preceded in death by his parents Dennis and Elsie Muonio, brother Daniel, nephew Cody LaFave, and grandparents Edwin & Florence Muonio and Melvin & Linda Niska. 

Funeral services will be held at Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Heisson on February 8, 2024, at 1pm, with burial at Elim Cemetery in Brush Prairie, WA
