Jean Edwina Peldo

Jean (Jeanne) Edwina Peldo, age 72, was called to her Heavenly Home on December 5, 2023 surrounded by her family. Jeanne was born on January 31, 1951 to John and Edwina Harvester in Gackle, ND where she lived until the age of 14. Jeanne moved with her mom and brother to Washington in May 1966 after the death of her father. She graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School in 1969 and from Dental Hygiene school at Clark College in 1971. Jeanne was working as a hygienist when she married the love of her life, Randy Peldo, on December 27, 1976. They were blessed with 6 children, which they raised in Battle Ground. After their youngest child was in school, Jeanne worked as a hygienist part time until retiring in 2010. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother brought her the most joy. She loved selflessly and cared deeply about everyone she knew, especially her family and friends. Jeanne was a faithful member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Lewisville, Washington and her precious Christianity was her greatest treasure. She spoke of her faith freely and openly, setting a beautiful example to all those around her.

Jeanne is survived by her husband of nearly 47 years, Randy; four daughters, Anneli (Grant) Granger of Oxford, PA; Trisha (Sean) Romine of Vancouver, WA, Kayla Peldo of Battle Ground, WA; and Camille (Derrick) Stewart of Battle Ground, WA; and two sons, Austin (Christie) Peldo of Amboy, WA; and Landon (Amanda) Peldo of LaCenter, WA; one brother, Jay (Vivian) Harvester of Battle Ground, WA, 25 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jimmy (Marge) Harvester and Jerry (Genevieve) Harvester; sisters Janet (LeRoy) Doeden and Jennifer Harvester; and grandson, Chael Michael Wood.
