Malia Renee Ritola was born March 8th, 1989, in Vancouver, WA, the oldest of 10 children to Thomas and Kristina Ritola. She passed away peacefully March 3rd, 2024, at age 34 in Portland, Oregon.

Malia was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran church, and a shining example to all her family, friends, and co-workers. She loved children, was such a sweet aunty, and had a special love for her God children.

Malia was very patient with all her health trials throughout her life and was a help to all who knew her.

Malia is survived by her parents Thomas and Kristina of Yacolt, WA. Six brothers: Ryan (Breana) of Lake Norden, SD, Randy (Mindy) of La Center, WA, Mikel (Leah) of Battle Ground, WA, Evan (Jade) of Pasco, WA, Grant (Ashley) of Battle Ground, WA, Drew (Janessa) of Delano, MN. Three sisters: Wendi (Stefan) Witzel of Vancouver, WA, Kelli and Joelle of Yacolt, WA, 12 nieces, 9 nephews, and grandparents: David Ritola and Ron and Judi Kaski.

Malia is preceded in death by her aunt Suzanne Kaski, uncle Keith Kaski, and grandma Lorraine Ritola.
