Margaret Ann Parker was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 21, 1948 (the same year as Israel, which she was always proud of). She was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a Christian home and committed her life to Jesus as a 3-year-old and never looked back.
Her dad was a hard man who worked at Pittsburgh Plate Glass during WWII and invented a bulletproof glass for the fighter planes and the resin for bowling balls.
As she became a young adult, Young Life in Colorado made a huge impact on her life. Shortly thereafter she moved to Houston to work as an LPN and then off to Pennsylvania to get her RN. Eventually she made her way to a nursing agency in Santa Ynez, California where she had her back injury that impacted the remainder of her life. From California she moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia for a few years and she had open heart surgery, then she moved to Franklin, Tennessee to be with friends there and eventually ended up moving to Vancouver, WA.
Some of the highlights of her life were:
Going to Lake Michigan,
Seeing 4 species of whale,
Going on 3 cruises with her dear friends,
A trip to Hawaii,
Publishing a book,
And leading many, many people to Jesus.
Her physical body was old and broken but she always said her spiritual body was 18-years-old.
She was a beloved friend to all and a great witness of the grace of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
