Martin (Budd) Stanton Stringfellow, 99, passed away on July 4, 2024, peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his home in Kelso, WA.
Budd was born in Kalispell, MT, on November 12, 1924 and raised in Columbia Falls, MT. He found work with Boeing in Seattle, WA until he joined the Army in August of 1943.
Upon returning from the 2nd World War, Budd met his wife Arliss Redinger. They were married for 64 years before she passed away in April of 2020. Arliss shared her precious faith and both were members of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. They were part of the small congregation in the Flathead Valley. They were blessed with 3 children which they raised in living faith in Columbia Falls.
Budd retired from the Columbia Falls Aluminum Plant, but continued to do machine work from his shop at home. Budd and Arliss moved to Battle Ground, WA in 2017 to be closer to family and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his wife Arliss, son Les, and 2 grandsons, Chad and Terry.
He is survived by daughter Linda (Tim) Rosenlund, Larry (Rachel), and Les’ widow, Patti. Also a large extended family and many friends.
Funeral services for Budd will be held at 11:00 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Brush Prairie, WA with Dale Schlect and Barry Waatti officiating. Burial will be at Elim Cemetery following the services.
