Remi Virginia Seppanen, a beloved and spirited child, passed away June 1, 2024, at the tender age of 18 months. Born Nov. 15, 2022, Remi brought an abundance of joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her bright, blue eyes and infectious giggles could lift the spirits of everyone around her. Remi’s insatiable curiosity led her on many little adventures in her home, yard, and slightly beyond, discovering the world with wonder and delight. She had a remarkable ability to bring lightheartedness and joy to every moment, captivating the hearts of her family and relatives with her playful charm.
In her short life, Remi taught those around her the profound beauty of simple joys and unconditional love. Her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to her family, reminding them of the preciousness of each day. Though her time with us was brief, Remi’s impact was profound, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Remi is survived by her beloved parents, Ethan and Bianca; her sister, Gabrielle; and her brother, Bennett. She is further survived by her grandparents, Daniel (Janine) Keteri and John (Jana) Seppanen, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her. Remi was preceded in death by her brother, Ekai Daniel.
A funeral service to celebrate Remi’s life will be held at the Hockinson Apostolic Lutheran Church on June 8, 2024, at 3 p.m., with a graveside service immediately following at Finn Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Remi.
