Roger Paul Schmeusser

Roger Paul Schmeusser, 73, of Battle Ground, WA, passed away on April 2, 2025 at home.

Roger was born on February 5, 1952 in Elkton, MD to Paul and Eva (Salonen) Schmeusser. Roger moved to the Battle Ground, WA area in 1976. He married Ruth Gail (Kysar) in 1980.

Roger worked as a truck driver for many years. He was a life long member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. His faith was most important to him.

Roger is survived by his wife, Gail, of 44 years, sons, Royce with Natalie Hampton of Yacolt, WA, Jason Hampton of Woodland, WA, Travis with Pauline Hampton of Vancouver, WA, Ashley Schmeusser of Yacolt, WA, Clarence with Betsy Schmeusser of Belle Fourche, SD, one daughter Shayleen with Daniel of Belle Fourche, SD, 22 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his siblings, Karl with Bessie of Battle Ground, WA, Susan with George Lobbestael of Rocking Point, NC, Nina with Wayne McBride of Castle Hayne, NC, Lois with Paul McDaniels of Bryant, SD, Ann with Sam Granger of Elkton, MD, Roy with Kathy of Yacolt, WA, and Rita of Elkton, MD.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Paul (Buddy) and Eva.
