Terry Shawn Nord

Terry Shawn Nord, aged 68, passed away on April 8, 2025, in La Center, Washington. Born on July 19, 1956, Terry was known for his generous spirit and kind heart. He cherished moments filled with family and laughter, always putting others before himself. 

Terry was a school bus driver for 3 years, lovingly known as “Dog” by his students. Terry then led a fulfilling career as the owner of a long-haul trucking business, where he dedicated many years to serving the logistics needs across the country. His work was not just a profession but a passion, reflecting his commitment to hard work and excellence. 

A member of Summit View Church, Terry was deeply involved in his community and church, where he found great joy in service and fellowship. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Christy, his son Tyler, and daughters Whitney and Charley, along with 3 cherished grandchildren. Terry’s life was a testament to the love and care he extended to all who knew him. A service to celebrate Terry’s life will be held on April 17, 2025 at 2pm at Summit View Church located at 7701 NE 182nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98682. 

Terry Nord’s legacy will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him. As a man who lived life fully, with kindness and generosity at the forefront of all he did.
